WORK IN PROGRESS. ENVIRONMENT.
Environment design of a new Star Wars world that is heavily inspired by ancient Persia as well as other civilizations.
CHARARCTER DESIGN.
These are members of the resistance who live on the planet fighting the empire. From Left to right we see the progression of the rebellion. From saboteur who wants to blend in the crowd ( on the far left ) to guerrilla who steals weapons from the elite of her planet and the empire( second left ) and finally to the units who are now integrated members of the alliance and who are receiving equipment from them. I decided to create two sets of characters but the evolution of the resistance remains the same.

WEAPON DESIGN.
Here are the weapons the rebels on this planet have stolen from the rich elite to combat the Empire in their armed resistance. Here is a quick analysis of a blaster axe that the rebels have rigged up to have a taser on the axe through their own electronic manipulation. We can see bellow Persian cultural influences of the design.
Colour study.
To make sure I did in fact choose the right colours I ran my prop through a couple of colour tests.
FORM STUDY. Initially these were done in greyscale and colour was added after the fact. Before committing to a particular design I tried out multiple different designs. I made sure afterwards that the guns were relatively in the same family aesthetically. I was going for a sci-fi musket look.
